Grote brand uitgebroken in containers in Turkse haven na aardbeving

ISKENDRUN - In de haven van Iskendrun is brand uitgebroken in containers na de aardbevingen van maandagochtend.

De zware aardbevingen zorgden al voor heel veel doden.

En ook in de haven is de schade van de aardbevingen goed te zien. Honderden containers zijn omgevallen en inmiddels is er ook brand uitgebroken in een aantal omgevallen containers.

De havenactiviteiten liggen tot nader orde stil in de haven van Iskendrun. Veel containers zijn beschadigd geraakt door de aardbevingen.
